PJSC Ukrnafta has successfully acquired a 51% stake in LLC Alliance Holding from Shell Overseas Investments B.V. Alliance Holding operates the Shell-branded network of 118 active filling stations across Ukraine. The deal, signed in November 2024, received a regulatory approval from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
“The Supervisory Board of Ukrnafta approved the resolution, as the acquisition of the business, managed for 15 years by a reputable international group, will provide Ukrnafta an opportunity to expand its gas-station network and market share, which corresponds to the Company’s development strategy,” Sergii Koretskyi, CEO of PJSC “Ukrnafta” stated.
The transaction represents one of the most significant developments in Ukraine’s fuel retail sector in the recent years. It signals renewed interest in strategic investment and consolidation within the energy market, as state-owned enterprises move to strengthen national supply infrastructure.
